The Diamond Exchange of Maryland Incorporated (since 1982)Owner operated The owner, Ira Kramer, has over 40 years of experience in the jewelry industry. He began in sales, advanced to general manager and part owner of a small chain of jewelry stores. He then purchased The Diamond Exchange in 1982. The full service retail store was closed in 1996, after an armed robbery in the spring of that year, and a private office was opened to service clients. The office venue allows Mr. Kramer to sell to the public, as well as run the consulting aspect of his jewelry business. Now he has relocated to Tallahassee, FL and has opened a private office and showroom. But Mr. Kramer still maintains clients all over the United States. Other services include estate consultation and liquidation;
