The Diamond Exchange of Maryland Incorporated (since 1982)Owner operated The owner, Ira Kramer, has over 35 years of experience in the jewelry industry. He started in sales, advanced to general manager and part owner of a small chain of jewelry stores. He then purchased The Diamond Exchange in 1982. The full service retail store was closed in 1996, after an armed robbery in the spring of that year, and a private office was opened to service clients. The office venue allows Mr. Kramer to sell to the public, as well as run the consulting aspect of his jewelry business. Other services include estate consultation and liquidation;
